Since its’ inception in 2019, the co-founders of IGCN continue their mission to bring ABA services to families in underserved and underprivileged communities of Los Angeles in need of assistance. With the growing need for ABA therapy across the country and particularly in the Spanish speaking communities here in Los Angeles, the founders have created and dedicated a specific department of IGCN to work solely with Spanish speaking clients and their families. The founders have utilized their combined 20 plus years of ABA experience by structuring IGCN in a way that places a high emphasis on ethics and the quality of services, while incorporating cultural and diversity training to all staff members. At IGCN Healthcare Partners, all program goals are centered around the philosophy of promoting the general welfare of the client, implementing programs that teach functional skills in a therapeutic environment, and fostering independence that allows our clients to live their most fruitful and meaningful lives.
IGCN Healthcare Partners rationale for anticipated client outcomes are aligned with the principal of social validity, which refers to the social significance of intervention goals, social acceptability of intervention procedures, and social importance of effects.
Our goal is for our clients to become independent in skill acquisition goals created and targeted by the IGCN team, and to have stimulus control/interventions 100% transferred to caregivers following the gradual fading out of services as deemed necessary by objective and measurable data collection.
The ultimate goal of IGCN ABA therapy is to advance the independence of our clients to integrate them in to society fostering the principle of normalization.
