Serving the underserved communities of the greater Southland
IGCN Health Center provides Applied Behavior Analysis therapy across the greater Los Angeles County area and beyond.
IGCN ABA programs utilize the most up to date research in the field to ensure that our learners are provided with the skills to be as successful and independent as possible while maintaining the highest level of service delivery.
In collaboration with caregivers, IGCN ABA programs will begin with an individualized functional behavior assessment (FBA) to determine behaviors that will be targeted for comprehensive or focus based intervention. Following the assessment, an individualized function based treatment plan will be developed to decrease maladaptive behaviors, teach your child socially significant replacement behaviors, develop various skills, and create meaningful caregiver training goals that will all be taught in a manner that works best for you and your child.
IGCN ABA programs can help target skill areas such as:
Play Skills
Communication
Self-Help Skills
Adaptive Skills
Safety Skills
Functional Skills
Behavior Reduction
Self-Management Skills
IGCN Health Center provides Social Skills group training to learners of all ages and their caregivers. The IGCN Socialization Program utilizes the evidence-based PEERS © curriculum developed at the University of California, Los Angeles. Additionally, IGCN clinicians integrate evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis strategies in to the Social Skills program to further enhance treatment gains for learners.
IGCN Health Center has an in house licensed clinical psychologist on staff to conduct Comprehensive Diagnostic Evaluations (CDE) for members in need of a diagnosis and recommendation for appropriate clinical services.
IGCN Board Certified Behavior Analysts and Clinical Supervisors are available to conduct Caregiver Guidance Training and Consultation to families, professionals, and organizations.
At IGCN, we utilize a “Train the Trainer" and "Pyramidal Model" that incorporates behavior skills training methods for teaching. Training will be both performance and competency based, and incorporate written instructions, modeling, rehearsal, and immediate constructive feedback to caregivers. This evidence based methodology has proven to be an effective strategy for the caregiver guidance component of ABA, in addition to other effective supervision methods.
At IGCN Health Center, we accept most health insurance plans, and are associated with many Regional Centers. Please call us and one of our intake specialists will help guide you through the process.
