Cameron Nesbitt, M.S., BCBA, IBA (Founder & CEO)

Cameron Nesbitt is the Founder, CEO, and Clinical Director of IGCN Health Center. He began working with individuals with developmental disabilities in 2012.

Originally aspiring to become a civil rights attorney, Cameron began his professional journey supporting individuals with disabilities while attending the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where he studied African-American Studies with a minor in Education. During his time at UCLA, he was recognized for his academic achievements through acceptance into both the Tau Sigma and Golden Key Honor Society chapters and was named to the Dean’s Honors List on five separate occasions.

In 2016, Cameron graduated Magna Cum Laude from UCLA with a Bachelor’s degree. He later earned his Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from National University in Los Angeles in 2018 and shortly thereafter became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst® (BCBA).

In addition to his clinical leadership role, Cameron serves as an Associate Professor at National University, where he teaches graduate-level coursework in Applied Behavior Analysis. Recognized by the university as an ABA subject matter expert, he developed a graduate-level course in Supervision and Management designed to meet the requirements of the BACB 5th Edition Task List.

Cameron is also a PEERS® Certified Provider through the UCLA Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior. Additionally, he has been retained as a jury consultant and expert witness in landlord-tenant civil litigation matters involving families of children with behavioral challenges facing eviction proceedings.

Throughout his career, Cameron has worked with a wide range of individuals and diagnoses, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intermittent Explosive Disorder, Down Syndrome, and Bipolar Disorder. He has provided services across multiple age groups, ranging from early intervention through adulthood, and has consulted in school, home, and group home settings.

As a former All-League and Los Angeles All-City Section baseball athlete, Cameron incorporates elements of athletics, teamwork, and performance-based behavioral strategies into his clinical approach. He particularly enjoys implementing programs focused on Organizational Behavior Management (OBM) and self-management strategies with adolescents in natural environment teaching (NET) settings.
